The BFA Family has now ‘wrapped up’ another year of our annual Christmas program! The staff, along with our ‘un-fir-gettable’ volunteers, truly enjoyed helping to provide a very Merry Christmas to our Brunswick County neighbors in need! Thank you to all of those who donated, volunteered, and participated in our Christmas program! BFA could not serve as many clients as we do, without the great support we receive from our community.

This year’s Christmas program granted 1,825 individuals’ Christmas wishes (nearly 6,000 wishes)! With your help and contributions, 1,073 households now do not have to worry about what to put under the Christmas tree! Once again, we truly could not do it without our loving community!

Thank you to the students from South Brunswick High School who volunteered at our Shallotte Christmas distribution! You all ‘fir’ sure were a great help! Your ‘presents’ never goes underappreciated at BFA!CRCI & BCC Baseball team were also a great help, setting up and cleaning up our distribution site! Thank you for always being a crew we can count on! Thank you to the Elah Baptist Church for not only providing a Leland Christmas distribution site but for also filling our volunteers’ tummies with warm, homecooked meals! We, along with our volunteers, appreciate your generosity and hospitality! We would also like to thank Kelly Stuart with Carolinas Commercial with Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners for donating a site for our Shallotte Christmas distribution! Domino’s Pizza (5051 Main St, Shallotte, NC) & Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries (4501 Main St, Shallotte, NC) kept our Shallotte volunteers’ tummies full of pizza & burgers! Thank you so much for donating lunch to our crew! Thank you to Yandle Mobile Storage for donating 11 pods, to hold the 770 bikes donated from Brunswick County Association of Realtors! Thank you to Brunswick County Association of Realtors for making that happen! We are ‘tree-mendously’ excited to see our clients ride their new bikes this holiday season! We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you FOCUS Broadband for donating Wi-Fi to our “Santa Workshops”! You surely made the ‘elves’ lives ‘snow’ much easier! Thank you to Food Lion (Shallotte, NC) for also making our ‘elves’ lives ‘snow’ much easier by providing us with shopping carts!

We could not thank our donors, volunteers, and all of those who participated enough! Each and every one of you truly make a difference in our county! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Happy Holidays!
