It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of one of our very dear and honorable board members, Ms. Karla Squier. Ms. Karla dedicated her life as a lifelong activist, helping those in need across our country. Here at BFA, we are incredibly grateful to have had such a generous and brilliant woman like Ms. Karla Squier serve on our board and carry out BFA’s mission for the past 15 years.
We send our deepest condolences to Ms. Karla’s family, as she will be missed greatly by the BFA family and our community.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4th, at 2 pm at Calabash Covenant Presbyterian Church.
