Adopting a Child – Donor Information

Thank You for your past and continued support of BFA’s Christmas in July Program. It’s that time again. As always BFA is looking forward to working with you to achieve a successful Back to School Program.

School supply lists are usually released to the public the first week of August. However; we have lists from last year and they do not usually change from year to year. They can also be found on the school’s web page.

What are we asking of you? As usual without the support of donors like you this program and many like it would go unfulfilled. BFA is once again asking for you to adopt a child/ children for Christmas in July (Back to School )Program providing a book bag, all required school supplies for the year, and one complete appropriate outfit of clothes and shoes for the child to return to school.

We ask that all items be received at BFA’s Shallotte office by August 3, 2020, so that we can process and supplement as needed. This will ensure that we have all book bags ready for distribution the week of August 18th.

Ensuring that these children have adequate school supplies is imperative to ensuring a successful school year. By providing a brand new outfit of clothing and pair of shoes we are helping children feel confident on their first day of school, thus setting the tone for a great school year!

If you need any further information regarding this or any of the other programs BFA offers, please contact Charles Jackson, Director of Outreach/Operations (910)754-4766 or Charlesg.bfa@yahoo.com
